Kris Del Vayze

Kris was a professional dancer long retired from shows on Broadway and in London's West End, when the lure of show business 'dragged' this former dance champion back on to stage.

Kris is the perfect example of the skyscraper tall, over the top drag queen and she plays it to perfection, with skyscraper heels and big, bigger and biggest hair.

Kris's return to stage as part of the Drags Aloud troupe was in the iconic role of 'the captain' in the Sound of Music drag show, a show that established a record as the longest running drag production show in Melbourne.

Since then Kris has been part of the costuming team with Jessica and she also lends her experience and choreography skills to the development of Drags Aloud's dance and show routines.

The comic timing and comedic laissez faire approach to the movements that is a hallmark of the Drags Aloud style has allowed Kris the freedom to freestyle with some of the dance moves she learned on Broadway so look for those high kicks.
